Murdo Morrison is an American writer with Scottish roots. Born in Glasgow, Scotland he has drawn on that heritage in his historical novel Roses of Winter, set in the city in World War 2.

The author's latest book, The Taste of Dust, continues the story of the characters in Roses of Winter.
